How It Works
Question. Do you sell item(s) quickly?
Answer. Yes, proper pricing of your item(s) coupled with automatic markdowns (10% every 2 weeks for a period of ten weeks only) assures a fast sale. Our agreement is for 90 days; however, we will keep the item on our floor, if salable, until it sells.
Question. Do you pay fast?
Answer. Yes, we pay the following month of the sale 50% of the net sale. The $19.99 item fee is paid for by the buyer.
Question. Do you advertise my items?
Answer. Yes, we spend thousands of dollars every month on broadcast TV, internet and print media.
Question. Do you accept consignments everyday?
Answer. Yes, you can bring your items to the store or arrange a pick up (cost comes out of your proceeds at sale)
Question. Do you have high foot traffic?
Answer. Yes, we drive as much traffic at Upscale as any other fine furniture store.
Question. Do you think I should sell the item(s) myself?
Answer. No, don’t risk strangers coming to your home to make ridiculous offers.(if they show at all)
Question. Do you come to my home to view my items?
Question. Do you pre-price all my items prior to pickup?
Answer. No, our staff will review every item in detail on arrival at our store and price the item(s) taking into consideration the manufacturer, age, condition and original purchase price. This information combined with our knowledge of how this style item(s) is selling in our store will allow us to arrive at the starting price. We will mail to you a computerized item(s) report of all starting values, usually the same day of arrival of the item(s)
